- Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT), works to promote democratic values and constitutional liberties in the digital age.
- Center for Public Integrity, obtained the Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003, aka "Patriot II," and posted it on its website.
- Center for National Security Studies, founded in 1974 to work for control of the FBI and CIA and to prevent violations of civil liberties in the United States.
