Restoring the Bill of Rights 2008 Calendar

Your Photographs Needed

BORDC invites you to submit photographs of your local actions for a 2008 calendar highlighting municipal, county, state, and organizational resolutions, local actions, and some of the history and stories that make our work to restore the Bill of Rights so rewarding.  If your photograph appears in the calendar, you will be credited and will receive a free calendar.  Thanks for being part of the informed citizenry necessary to keep abuse of power at bay.

Guidelines for submissions:

  • Deadline for submissions is August 1, 2007.
  • Submit digital photographs, prints, and/or slides.
  • If submitting digital photographs, please submit the original photographs from your camera, if possible. Digital photographs need to be saved at a minimum resolution of 300 pixels/inch. To set resolution of digital photographs, open your digital photograph in Photoshop. Click on “Menu” on the top menu bar, then click on “Image Size.” This will open a window where you can set the resolution within the "document size" box. The resolution should be set to 300 pixels/inch. Note: Setting the resolution may change the size of your image, which is fine.
  • If you are going to be taking digital photographs at upcoming events, please make sure your camera is set to the highest quality/resolution your camera can achieve. This will help facilitate a high resolution photograph for printing.
  • Include your name, phone number and email address and a description of each photo, including date, location, description of what is taking place in the photo, who took the picture, and group affiliation, if any.
  • If submitting hard copy submissions, please fill out this form and mail form and photographs to the address below. If you want your material returned to you, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your submission.
