California Labor Federation AFL-CIO, The PATRIOT Act (PDF), see pages 11-12; passed at its July 2004 Biennial Convention.

International Longshore and Warehouse Union, Oppose the U.S. Patriot Act and Homeland Security Act ; passed May 1, 2003, at their thirty-second international convention, held in San Francisco from April 30 to May 2, 2003.

Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, Resolution against war in Iraq and USA PATRIOT Act; passed January 27, 2003, at a delegates' meeting.

Minnesota AFL-CIO, a federation representing 400,000 workers across the state passed two strongly-worded resolutions at their yearly convention, one calling for the repeal of the USA Patriot Act, stating, in its zeal to win a “self-declared war on terrorism," the Bush administration "is willing to sell out the foundations of U.S. democracy;" and the other supporting similar resolutions in local and state governments across the country. San Francisco Labor Council, Bring the Troops Home Now – End the Occupation of Iraq; Money for Human Needs, Not War; Repeal the Patriot Act; passed June 14, 2004.

United Electrical (UE), Defend Our Civil Liberties resolution; passed at the 69th UE convention, held August 2005.

Washington State Labor Council, Resolution Against the War, Attacks on Civil Liberties, and Cuts in Public Services; passed August 28, 2002.
