A wonderful signmaker in Telluride, who supports progressive issues, made the "Civil Liberties Safe Zone" sign for free to match the National Historic District sign already in place. The photographer, Hilary White, was on the Telluride City Council at the time, and managed to convince other Telluride city officials to add this reminder of the Telluride resolution to their regular town entry sign.
