Students and Faculty
The USA PATRIOT Act and other antiterrorism measures that threaten civil liberties affect campus communities in distinct ways. These policies not only put academic freedom at risk, but also greatly endanger the diversity of the educational community.
However, students, faculty, and staff across the nation are fighting back. 53 campus bodies, including student governments, faculty and university senates, librarian associations, and academic organizations, have passed resolutions opposing the troubling and dangerous provisions of the USA PATRIOT Act!
Get involved! Learn more about the issues, educate others, and organize on your campus! Use our campus organizing tools, and contact us at info@bordc.org to keep us abreast of your efforts and to share suggestions and resources.
