Poster:

  • Title and brief description (for example, "A public forum to address concerns about threats to civil liberties in the U.S. in the aftermath of September 11")
  • Date, Start Time-End Time, Location
  • Moderator and Panelists
  • Endorsers (individuals and groups); see sample Invitation Letter asking for endorsements
  • Wheelchair accessible, sign-interpreted
  • Group name that organized the forum, contact telephone number

  • Welcome and Introduction
  • Introduction of Panel (In Northampton, panel members were introduced by Mayor Mary Claire Higgins.)
  • Featured Speakers names and titles (Northampton's panel included the director of the regional ACLU chapter, someone with knowledge and experience of impact of laws on immigrants and foreign students, a professor of Afro-American studies with knowledge of COINTELPRO, president of the Northampton City Council, and Northampton police chief.)
