Coordinating Committee was responsible for setting agendas for meetings of the whole committee and for overseeing the work of the other committees.

Program and Facility Committee defined the program and contacted speakers. It also set up and broke down the hall, including the tables for other organizations.

PR Committee produced a poster, mailings, a press release, public service announcements, and spots to promote the public forum.

Statement/Petition Committee wrote a statement/petition to be presented to the Town Meeting encapsulating our demands, to be presented to politicians, including the City Council, for their agreement.

Sponsorship/Fundraising/Organizing Committee sent invitation letter packets to businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations to increase endorsements and, in the process, gain some funds for the public forum.
