ALASKA:

University of Alaska, Fairbanks: the Associated Students of the University of Alaska Fairbanks passed a resolution on April 14, 2003.

ARIZONA:

University of Arizona, Tucson: the Faculty Senate passed a resolution (see Security Squeeze).

CALIFORNIA:

California State University: the Academic Senate passed a resolution on November 13-14, 2003.
Stanford University (Palo Alto, CA): the Associated Students of Stanford University passed a resolution on January 27, 2003; the Faculty Senate passed a resolution on January 9, 2002. (see Students criticize PATRIOT Act and Faculty fear Patriot Act threatens research, civil liberties).
University of California, Berkeley: the Associated Students of the University of California, Berkeley passed a resolution in the Spring of 2003 (see the ACLU of Northern California's press release); the Academic Senate passed a resolution on May 6, 2004.
University of California, Santa Barbara: the Associated Students of the University of California, Santa Barbara passed a resolution on May 21, 2003 (see A.S. Approves Program Board Honoraria Bill; email UCSB organizers).
University of California, Santa Cruz: the Academic Senate passed a resolution on May 21, 2004 (see UCSC resolution challenges USA Patriot Act).

ILLINOIS:

Illinois State University: the Academic Senate passed a resolution on November 10, 2004.
University of Illinois, Springfield: the Student Government Association passed a resolution on November 16, 2003 (email student body President Jason Stuebe).

IOWA:

Iowa State University: the Senate of the Government of the Student Body passed a resolution on February 11, 2004.

KENTUCKY:

University of Kentucky: the Student Government passed a resolution on February 26, 2004 (see the UK-ACLU's website).

MASSACHUSETTS:

Mount Holyoke College (South Hadley, MA): the Student Government Association passed a resolution on February 15, 2005.
Suffolk University (Boston, MA): the Student Government Association passed a resolution on November 6, 2003 (see Suffolk University passes anti-Patriot Act resolution).
Tufts University (Medford, MA): the Tufts Community Union Senate passed a resolution on March 28, 2005 (see Senate passes ACLU resolution)
Wheaton College (Norton, MA): the Student Government Senate passed a resolution on November 19, 2003.

MISSOURI:

Southwest Missouri State: the Student Government Association passed a resolution on October 7, 2003.

NEBRASKA:

University of Nebraska, Lincoln: the Student Senate passed a resolution on January 14, 2004.

NEW YORK:

Hartwick College (Oneonta, NY): the Student Senate passed a resolution on April 13, 2004.
State University of New York Albany: the University Senate passed a resolution on May 3, 2004.
State University of New York Fredonia: the University Senate passed a resolution on April 5, 2004.

NORTH CAROLINA:

Appalachian State University (Boone, NC): the Student Government Association passed a resolution on November 18, 2003 (see SGA denounces sections of US Patriot Act); the Faculty Senate passed a resolution on December 8, 2003.

OHIO:

Miami University (Oxford, OH): the Associated Student Government passed a resolution on November 30, 2004 (email Off-Campus Senator JM Downey).

OREGON:

Southern Oregon University: the Associated Students of Southern Oregon University passed a resolution on January 20, 2004.
University of Oregon: the University Senate passed a resolution on April 14, 2004 (see University Senate prioritizes students' privacy).

PENNSYLVANIA:

Juniata College (Huntingdon, PA): passed a resolution on November 5, 2003.
Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA): the Faculty Senate passed a resolution on May 3, 2004.
Muhlenberg College: the Muhlenberg College Faculty passed a resolution on January 23, 2004 (see Faculty passes Patriot Act resolution without dissent).
University of Pennsylvania: the Faculty Senate Executive Committee passed a resolution on April 2, 2003; the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly passed a resolution on April 23, 2003; and the University Council passed a resolution on April 23, 2003.
West Chester University, Pennsylvania: the Faculty Senate passed a resolution on April 9, 2004 (see the speech given by faculty member Stacey Schlau).

RHODE ISLAND:

Brown University: the Undergraduate Council of Students passed a resolution on March 17, 2005.
University of Rhode Island: passed a resolution on October 30, 2003.

TEXAS:

Lamar University (Beaumont, TX): the Student Government Association passed a resolution on March 2, 2004.
University of Texas, Austin: the Student Government passed a resolution.

UTAH:

University of Utah: the Academic Senate passed a resolution on August 30, 2004 (see the Explanation and Justification statement that accompanied the resolution).

VIRGINIA:

George Mason University: the Faculty Senate passed a resolution on April 13, 2005 (see GMU Faculty Decries Patriot Act).
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University: the Student Government Association passed a resolution on April 27, 2004; the Faculty Senate passed a resolution on February 17, 2004 (the resolution can be viewed under "Meeting Minutes" on the Faculty Senate website).

WASHINGTON:

University of Puget Sound: the Associated Students of University of Puget Sound passed a resolution on February 10, 2005.
University of Washington: the Associated Students of the University of Washington passed a resolution.
Washington State University: the Associated Students of Washington State University passed a resolution.
Western Washington University: the Associated Students of Western Washington University passed a resolution on October 14, 2003; the Faculty Senate passed a resolution on February 23, 2004.
Whitman College (Walla Walla, WA): the Associated Students of Whitman College passed a resolution on October 26, 2003.

WISCONSIN:

University of Wisconsin: the United Council of Students passed a resolution.
University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point: the Student Government Association passed a resolution on February 17, 2005.

Other Campus Resolutions

The Librarians Association of the University of California passed a resolution on May 30, 2003.
The Administrative Board of the Library of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill passed a resolution on October 29, 2003.
