Night of 1,000 Conversations is February 22-28
Host A Conversation in Your Area!

Want to protect civil rights and civil liberties? Here's a chance for you to bring your family, friends, and colleagues together to learn about how policies have impacted people around the country and take action to make a difference.

The Rights Working Group, of which BORDC is a member, is convening Night of 1,000 Conversations from February 22-28. During that week, community members around the country will come together to hold local conversations to discuss civil rights and liberties, racial profiling, and more. Find out more about Night of 1,000 Conversations here.

Conversations can range from small gatherings in homes to larger events at community hubs. Interested in bringing your community together for a Conversation? It's as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Fill out the form here to let us know that you want to host or plan a conversation. You can also fill out the form to be connected to others in your area who want to plan or host a local conversation.
  2. Receive the Conversation materials via email.
  3. Bring your friends, family and networks together to start the conversation and take action!

Concerns about racial profiling and civil liberties directly affect political activists as well as many vulnerable populations, including Latinos, African-Americans, Muslims, Arabs, South Asians, and others. Start the conversation to fight these policies at the local and national level today by participating in Night of 1,000 Conversations. Contact me for more information.
